35th Milo Marathon Elimination 2011

Last July 31, 2011, the 35th Milo Marathon Manila Eliminations pushed through despite a raining Sunday morning. It was held at SM Mall of Asia Grounds. Maja Salvador was there to promote her movie "Thelma", an inspiring movie about a young runner's dream and how she run to fix her problems in life.

"Thelma" is directed by Paul Soriano, a film and TV commercial director. The storyline follows a young girl named Thelma (played by Maja Salvador) who uncovers her exceptional speed, bringing both challenges and opportunities for her family. Despite facing obstacles from her past and battling self-doubt, Thelma uses her gift to make a positive impact on her loved ones. The film draws inspiration from real-life accounts of Filipino athletes who rose from small provinces to represent the country globally.
